Yeah, you can totally get dates as a passive member, but it's more random. An active client has a matchmaker working specifically for them, setting up dates. Passive is like, if you happen to fit what an active client is looking for.

I used them in Austin a while back, had some good dates. Not sure about Dallas specifically but they usually check if they have enough people in your area before you commit, I think.

It's kinda both. They do try to sell you, but they also ask a lot about what you're looking for and give you an idea if they can actually help. I found it pretty informative.

It's definitely a sales pitch for their services, but I also felt like they were genuinely trying to understand my needs. They tell you if they think they have people who'd be a good fit for you. Not entirely useless.

IMO, yes. It's totally different from dating apps. You get actual human curation, which felt way more targeted than endless swiping. IJL is similar, but Tawkify's whole vibe felt more personal to me.
